What we do
The Parish Council is comprised of 6 nominated members (who represent areas of the Parish such as the schools and the finance committee) and 6 co-opted members (who act as representatives for the different areas of the Parish Action Plan). The council meet 3 times a year to receive feedback and direct ongoing actions in an aim to implement the Action Plan. The Plan is formulated by working groups of parishioners during an evening of discussion each year.
To support your parish, and help to shape the future direction of St Peter and St Paul’s, please come along to the initial working group meetings which will be advertised through the Newsletters – the more people that get involved, the more likely we are to have a Plan that represents the Church as a whole. Coming to a meeting does not mean that you will automatically be co-opted onto the Council – although if you are interested please send us an email.
If you have any issues you wish to raise, please contact a council member at least one week before the meeting date to have your item added to the agenda or email the parish council at firstname.lastname@example.org
